I took the photos that make up my photo essay at Pierces Beach. I selected this location as the setting for my photos because I grew up going to this beach all the time so these photos tell a story of my childhood. My photos all have a sepia filter besides one for a reason. The sepia filter represents how the beach/park is old, worn down, and vacant. The one pink shoe in one of the photos represents how children still enjoy Pierces Beach even though it isn't luxury. The series of images above capture the different sights at this particular beach. Most of my pictures were taken straight on angle and the lighting was provided naturally from the sun. The sepia filter visually unified my photos.
